If there are minor defects on the car body, such as small scratches, technical contamination, or faded colour, cosmetic polishing is required. Cosmetic polishing removes a minimal layer of clear coat, so if the car has deeper scratches, ingrained dirt, or faded colour, then restorative polishing is necessary. If the car has paint chips or deep scratches, they must be masked (touch-up painted), as polishing is not designed to remove such defects. In some cases, it may be necessary to repaint the part in the body shop. Any polishing is a mechanical impact on the surface, so after polishing we apply a protective coating of Ceramic Pro. In our work, we use a range of products from Ceramic Pro, a manufacturer of nano-ceramic coatings. Ceramic Pro 9H and Top Coat are used to protect the paintwork of a new car and help preserve colour depth and facilitate further care. Ceramic Pro 9H is a transparent liquid nano-ceramic coating that is applied in layers. The protective coating can be applied in several layers to achieve a harder coating. The protective layer is completely transparent, does not change the colour of the car’s paint, but makes it brighter and more saturated.
Advantages of protective coating:
• hydrophobic effect
• resistance to ultraviolet radiation
• glossy finish
• anti-graffiti
• increased durability
Easy maintenance
Ceramic coatings have hydrophobic properties, which means water and dirt roll off the surface easily. Less dirt accumulation means fewer washes and less effort to maintain the appearance.
Protection against the harshest conditions
Modern driving conditions can be brutal: acid rain, bird droppings, road salt, ultraviolet radiation — and much more.
Ceramic coatings are specially designed to protect against:
- Acid contamination
- Damage from UV rays and oxidation
- Chemical stains (tree sap, insect residue)
- Road grime and brake dust
For collectors and car enthusiasts, preserving the original paint and maintaining perfect condition is vital, and ceramic coating is the best choice.
