The clear coat on the bodywork protects the paintwork from external factors. Over time, the car’s bodywork loses its smoothness and shine, scratches appear, the colour fades, and the car’s appearance becomes less attractive. Car polishing removes minor imperfections and removes the damaged layer of clear coat. The surface will be smooth and shiny once again. Any polishing involves mechanical action on the paintwork surface, so after polishing we apply a CeramicPro protective coating. The nano-ceramic forms a strong bond with the paintwork, does not wash off and does not break down.
Cosmetic car polishing with the application of a protective coating in the Malaga province
Cosmetic polishing removes minor imperfections, such as fine scratches and environmental grime, and restores a dulled colour. It is used on cars with minor damage to the paintwork. Unlike wax, CeramicPro coatings provide permanent protection for your car’s paintwork. CeramicPro protective coatings help your car stay clean for longer.
Key stages:
• Detailing wash, which includes a hand wash and cleaning of the bodywork using special clay.
• Preparation of the vehicle prior to polishing, which includes masking the openings and unpainted bodywork components.
• Cosmetic polishing using correctly selected pads and compounds. Doctor Benz use professional Rupes polishing machines and professional compounds from Koch and Rupes.
• Preparation for applying the protective coating, which includes removing any remaining paste and degreasing the surface.
• Application of the protective coating. In our work, Doctor Benz use a multi-layer multi-functional protective nano-ceramic coating from CeramicPro.
Advantages of a nano-ceramic protective coating:
1. The protective coating helps preserve colour depth and makes maintenance easier.
2. The protective coating is completely transparent; it does not alter the colour, but makes it brighter and more vibrant.
3. Thanks to UV protection, the paintwork will not fade.
4. The protective coating makes car body maintenance easier; contaminants such as bird droppings, insects and dirt do not stick and can be easily removed with water.
5. The protective coating creates a hydrophobic effect.
6. The protective coating is not washable; it can only be removed by sanding.
7. The protective coating can be applied in several layers to achieve a harder finish.
Restorative car polishing with protective coating in the Malaga province
Restorative polishing removes defects such as medium and fine scratches and ingrained dirt, and restores faded paintwork. It is used on cars with significant damage to the paintwork. The protective coating forms a strong bond with the paintwork; it does not wash off or deteriorate. The coating can be applied in several layers, resulting in a harder finish with improved scratch resistance. Water-repellent properties, UV resistance, a glossy finish, anti-graffiti protection and enhanced durability are all benefits of the protective coating.
Key stages:
• Detailing wash, which includes a hand wash and cleaning of the bodywork using special clay.
• Preparation of the vehicle prior to polishing, which includes masking off openings and unpainted bodywork components.
• Restorative polishing using appropriately selected pads and compounds.
Doctor Benz use professional Rupes polishing machines and professional products from Koch and Rupes.
• Preparation for applying a protective coating, which includes removing any remaining polish and degreasing the surface.
• Application of the protective coating. In our work, we use a multi-layer multi-functional protective nano-ceramic coating from CeramicPro.
Advantages of the nano-ceramic protective coating:
1. The coating has a hardness rating of 9H.
2. Increases resistance to chips and scratches with each new layer.
3. Provides a powerful water- and dirt-repellent effect.
4. Produces a ‘high-gloss’ finish.
5. Enhances colour depth and saturation.
6. UV resistance and protection against surface fading.
7. Protects the surface from chemical and environmental influences.
If the car has paint chips or deep scratches, these must be touched up, as polishing is not designed to remove such defects. In some cases, the part may need to be repainted at a body shop.
Car Dry Cleaning in the Malaga province
Car dry cleaning differs from a standard car wash and involves the deep cleaning of various types of dirt from all surfaces using specialised detergents, cleaning agents and equipment.
Professional cleaning of leather interiors is a procedure that requires expertise and specialised cleaning products (in our work, we use the professional product range from Furniture Clinic). For example, alkaline cleaning agents used in standard car washes can damage leather interiors, leaving scorch marks and stains.
Fabric interiors are highly susceptible to dirt and wear and tear. Professional cleaning of fabric interiors must be carried out using a specialised extractor (we use Kärcher equipment) and a specialised cleaning agent (the components in our product react with the dirt, breaking the molecular bond between the dirt and the fabric fibres).
When should you have your car dry cleaned?
• After buying a car on the second-hand market. Many sellers, including professional ones, do not have the car dry cleaned before selling it, limiting themselves to a standard wash. This is necessary first and foremost for hygiene reasons.
• After bodywork repairs. During bodywork, dust from sanding the primer before painting enters the cabin, settling on all interior components and posing a serious health risk if inhaled. Specific odours also linger after bodywork repairs.
• After the car has been left unused for a long time. This is a necessary measure to maintain cleanliness, health and comfort in the car. When a car is left unused for a long time, dust accumulates in the interior and an unpleasant odour develops, caused by bacteria, mould and fungi. All of this can have a negative impact on health.
• After the beach season has ended. This is necessary to remove accumulated dirt, eliminate unpleasant odours and maintain a clean interior. After trips to the beach, sand, dust and dry grass remain in the car. Heavy sweating leads to salt build-up on the steering wheel, seats and other interior components.
• Allergic reactions. If you notice that you or your passengers have started sneezing or coughing frequently in the car, or if skin irritation has appeared, this may be due to the build-up of allergens (pet hair, pollen, dust).
• Unpleasant odours. If persistent unpleasant odours have developed in the car’s interior that do not dissipate for several days, professional dry cleaning is required.
• Specific stains. Dry cleaning will help remove both fresh and stubborn stains, as well as eliminate unpleasant odours.
• After a long car journey, frequent trips with children, or transporting pets. Dry cleaning is necessary to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the car interior.
After dry cleaning, we always carry out an antibacterial treatment of the car interior.
1. Disinfection. We use the latest high-tech equipment, which sprays a disinfectant at high pressure at the micron level, creating an ultra-thin protective layer.
2. Ozonation. The ozonation process involves cleaning using ozone gas. Ozonation is the most effective method for combating microorganisms, fungi and allergens. It eliminates stubborn unpleasant odours and disinfects the car interior.
3. Ultrasonic atomiser. Cleans the car interior and the air conditioning system. It disperses into the environment as particles of cleaning fluid less than 5 microns in size, completely saturating and cleaning the interior, the air conditioning system and surfaces, reaching even the most hard-to-reach places. Leaves a light lemon scent.
